Deputy Manager required in York, starting from £18.50 per hour - Full time

Job Setting
My client requires a dedicated Deputy Manager to work within a nursing home in York, set in a beautiful manor hours surrounded by idyllic countryside. My client specialises in providing physical disability treatment to adults, and are the largest disability non-profit organisation in the UK.

Supporting the Service Manager in the day to day operation of the service, you will deputise as directed in their absence and be responsible for the direct supervision and line-management of staff. You will be responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical & personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the customers.

You will have excellent leadership qualities as will be involved in the management of the staff. You will be responsible for assisting the Home Manager in the day to running of the home. You will be directly involved with senior management and will be responsible for supervising staff and monitoring patient care.

Essential Requirements
Hold a nursing qualification
Have 6 months experience in a similar capacity
Be registered with the NMC
Be passionate about care
Have satisfactory references
Have the right to work in the UK
Management qualification desirable
