Locum Doctor (General Practitioner with Diving Medicine Qualification) Ministry of Defence - Stonehouse (Plymouth, Devon) Hours required: 13.50 (Monday - Friday)Contract length: Ongoing Job Description A locum is required to undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military Personnel and, in some locations, other entitled personnel. Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within the locum doctor's scope of experience and qualification are to be expected as well as informing the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceman's ability to undertake his/her duties.Management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management may be required.Essential Requirements / Qualifications / Experience Must be Registered with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the General Medical Council (GMC) GP Register without Restrictions and have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Council's (GMC's) Good Medical Practice (GMP). An in date Certification for attendance on the Standard Underwater Medicine Course delivered by the Institute of Naval Medicine, Gosport is required.Military Medical Personnel specialises in recruiting healthcare professionals for Army, Navy & RAF bases throughout the UK & overseas.
