The Role:
The QSHE Manager role has a broad scope to support the Directors and Operations team of the business to formulate and achieve the set QA, Safety, Health and Environmental Standards. You will define, establish, implement and maintain the QSHE Management Systems & Standards by working closely with QA Inspectors, Lead SHE Officer, Operational level Staffs and Top Management. The incumbent will constantly look for bringing in new and effective systems & methods in QSHE based on on-going Legislative, Customer & Stakeholders requirements and continually improving the systems and practices to meet the set policies & objectives from time to time.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities:
⦁ Formulate QSHE standards & guidelines for people, material, process, facilities & product (R&A).
⦁ Ensuring QSHE is implemented in accordance to ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 and report formally on Management System Performance (R&A).
⦁ Develop and manage audit plan for QSHE processes and operational activities and ensure continual improvement (R).
⦁ Managing the QA Inspectors and their functions in achieving the set QA standards and objectives by providing day-to-day directions (R&A).
⦁ Ensure all non-conformances, defects & deficiencies relating to QSHE matters are promptly reported and recorded by relevant responsibilities and take corrective actions and prevent recurrence (R&A)
⦁ Serve as a point of contact for advice both internally and externally on process, product & quality system and ensure Company QSHE policy and procedures are fully implemented in accordance to client requirements (R).
⦁ Develop and monitor plans to achieve QSHE improvement and develop performance indicators for measuring successful implementation (R&A).
⦁ Secure various quality certifications and revise and update policies to ensure continual accreditation to quality standards (R).
⦁ Ensure QSHE objectives are disseminated to all staffs and contractors and ensure needed follow-up with the concerned (R).
⦁ Develop and conduct trainings to existing and new employees on QSHE standards and procedures in association with Lead SHE Officer to ensure proper delivery of QSHE policy (R).
⦁ Mentor and coach the QA Inspectors and the operational staffs in association with the Divisional Managers and Production Managers in delivering the set quality objectives (R).
⦁ Ensure that the suppliers (local & overseas) meet the set material standards, prepare reports on their performance and suggest required improvements in liaison with purchase team (R&A).
⦁ Actively pursue continual improvement in QSHE aspects of the business and ensure QSHE activities are executed in line with the set standards and the consistency is achieved (R&A).
⦁ Identify & deliver the mid to long term training needs and priorities based on Lean Manufacturing Concepts and Principles to all the levels of the staffs in building Lean Culture (R&A).
⦁ Coach and mentor the shop floor management in the application of QSHE policy and practice in co-ordination with Lead SHE Officer (R).
⦁ Provide QSHE support with high risk activities to provide a cost effective, customer focused solution to deliver the required performance criteria (R).
⦁ Co-ordinate with Customers, suppliers and manufacturing looking at quality concerns and continual improvements related product, process & system whilst ensuring KPI’s are achieved (R).
⦁ Deriving QSHE risks reduction strategies and planning practical & effective methods, both remedial and preventive of promoting health, safety and environment and safe working practices (R&A).
⦁ Ensure the Lead SHE Officer receives detailed monthly/yearly reports to inform Management in shaping SHE policy, strategy and targets (R).
⦁ Liaise with the external agencies like certification body, relevant legislative authorities, stake holders and local bodies related to all matters of safety, health & environment in association with Lead SHE Officer. Provide assistance and co-operations concerning audits and remedial actions (R&A).
⦁ Managing designated quality budgets and resourcing in line with Company’s business plan (R).
