Key Responsibilities:To be a role model and professional leader for nursesTo ensure the highest standards of nursing and clinical practice are achieved, maintained and provided for all residentsLiaise closely with General Managers on all aspects of potential clinical risksIn liaison with the General Managers, ensure the promotion and achievement of clinically effective and person centred care models and pathwaysLead the Development and Assurance Nurses in designing a clinical audit programmeProvide leadership on all units in relation to safeguarding processesSupport General Managers and Unit Managers with safeguarding processes and input into meetings where requiredReport directly to Director of Clinical Quality regarding serious safeguarding issuesSupport Unit Managers with preparations for resident's Care Reviews and Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings and reportsLead Development and Assurance Nurse | Clinical Management | Nurse | Nursing | Staff Development | Practice Development | Learning | Training | Coaching | Supervision | RGN | RMNEssential Requirements:RN with a valid PIN and at least 5 years post qualification experience in the healthcare sectorTwo years post qualification experience in a clinical leadership and/or managerial roleEvidence of continuing professional and personal developmentLeadership QualificationAt least 3 years recent and up to date management experience, two of which will be in the private sector.Extensive experience of meeting targets and successful team managementLeading safeguardingLeading on Infection ControlPolicy writing and managing best practice initiatives in a leadership roleProven nursing leadership in quality improvement and change managementExperience of successful partnership working internally and externallyDesirable Requirements:Dual qualificationManagement qualificationRisk management experienceAbout Our Company:We are an award winning independent provider, we are also an award winning employer.
