Your new company
This IT-driven organisation are seeking a talented .Net developer with a well-rounded skill set to join their team. The position is based from their head office location in Dorchester and the role is integral for the business to keep up with project demands developing enterprise level software for the Financial Services market. You must have your own transport to apply.
Your new role
You will be working on a variety of projects, both custom greenfield development and maintenance of existing systems. Working as part of a small team it is expected that you can manage multiple projects and assist in areas outside your core specialism to aid the business. It's about an investment in the success of the company, in return you can expect a clear progression path and an investment in your personal development.
The successful candidate should have the aptitude and hunger to pick up new technologies and methodologies dependant on requirements that come in. The company is well-established and have an excellent staff retention rate, the environment allows people to flourish.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 12 months development experience working with .Net (Winforms, VB.Net or C#). You should have experience interacting with a database, either SQL Server or Oracle. You should have taken projects through the for the full software development lifecycle and be interested in working as a full stack developer in the future.
You will be a proponent of Agile environments and will be interested in keeping up to date with the latest tools and technologies in the industry. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as collaboration is actively encouraged and is key to the culture of the business.
