Human Factors Engineer - Medical Devices Design - Cambridgeshire

A small and growing Medical Devices company, based in Cambridgeshire, have come to a point in their products development where they need a permanent fulltime Human Factors Engineer who can help the Industrial Design Team design and develop their product within Human Factors standards.

Apart from the Industrial Design Team you will work alongside Mechanical Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Physicists and Scientists all with a Medical Devices background. Due to the technology, you will develop, and the backgrounds of your colleagues, it is expected that you would have worked on Human Factors Design of Medical Devices. We cannot accept an application for this role from another background, you must have been working on Medical Devices.

This company's technology is very exciting and I expect it to result in a massive level of growth for the company, both in the UK and worldwide. Due to the growth plans in place for this company I would expect your role to grow and your responsibility to grow with it. This is a great role for a Human Factors expert who wants to really influence the shape of a Medical Devices and a company.

Hopefully you will hold a degree within a Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Design or other subject that involved you working on Human Factors Designs. Along with this education you would need to have worked within the Medical Devices sector for a number of years.

Apart from the career growth and the chance to work on life-saving technologies, you will we rewarded with an excellent salary, bonus scheme, life assurance, pension and private medical cover.

I expect a lot of people to be interested in this role as you would be working directly for a company rather than via a consultancy or as a contractor, meaning you will get to see how the technology will deliver and develop. Due to this, if you are interested I would suggest applying now.
