Home Manager in Derby.
The home is a specialist nursing center set in a quiet residential part of Derby. It is operated by a dedicated and experienced management team. The job itself is offering £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 per annum.

And, whether you're championing Resident wellbeing, establishing a vision and development plan for the home or carrying out quality assurance monitoring to take us above and beyond regulatory standards, you'll do so with a sense of kindness above anything else.We're looking for a care home experienced Registered Nurse with current Pin on the NMC register or S/NVQ4 in social care. You'll also either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one. Not to mention leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments. And, above all, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you'll be truly considerate and kind. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of person centred care are being delivered at all times by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of the care plans. Observing and carrying out appropriate hand-overs to ensure the detail and accuracy of service user information being providedCarryout nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.Provide support and guidance to all staff, providing demonstrations and instructions of care activities, particularly in relation to the induction and mentoring of new staff.Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act and fire safety and evacuation procedures, demonstrating a working knowledge of COSHH assessments applicable in your area of work.Taking lead of the unit and monitoring staffLiaise with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care. As well as family members.Experience Required
