Royal Mail International is our window to the world. Working as a stand-alone Profit & Loss business unit we process over 250 million parcels and over 225 million letters for Royal Mail Group to customer destinations internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates to work alongside senior leaders and assist with defining policies, procedures and new approaches to how we meet customer demand. Our customers are global and over the course of the programme you will complete placements in Heathrow and London with some international travel also expected however you will not need to re-locate abroad.

About the programme >

On this graduate programme you’ll learn how Royal Mail International operates. Whether you’re working in our flagship distribution centre in Heathrow or at our team’s headquarters in Farringdon (central London) you will be involved in work that ranges from implementing the sales strategy with important customers and stakeholders to learning how to lead a team to deliver key projects and initiatives. The projects involve defining innovative ways to meet the ever changing, growing needs of our customers so that our teams can meet expectations in this global, competitive market.

We’ll give you hands-on responsibility from the moment you start but this is about your skills development and showing you how to build the foundations for a great career. We offer on-the-job training and development as well as formal leadership development. Our highly experienced managers will set you performance goals, while a buddy, mentor and HR leads will act as your support network.

What we’re looking for >

We welcome graduates with a minimum 2:1 degree in any subject, although a business or numeracy background would be an advantage. More important is that you are an energetic self-starter with the drive, determination and confidence to develop at pace and manage projects.

You will be expected to relocate as part of the programme to Heathrow, London and surrounding areas (all commutable to/from London). We offer some financial support with moving costs and time off as part of our relocation policy.

*Location pay dependent on placement location (Regions£900 to £1.7k if applicable, outer London £2.9k, central London £4.6k).

**Performance-related bonus for on target performance is 10% of salary and up to 20% if both company and personal stretch targets are met.
