Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN preferred) Up to £50,000 Full-time We are proud to announce our first Care Village, Emmerson Park & Grange based in Hextable, Kent. This will comprise a state-of-the-art 85 bed residential/dementia Care home, Emerson Grange, together with 45 luxury independent apartments set within the grounds. Providing all the benefits of a socially vibrant community, Emmerson Park will offer a gym, hair salon, cinema and clubhouse room for a wide range of activities and social events. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join the Team. We are looking for a dynamic RGN (however highly experienced non-nurse applicants are welcome), maybe with previous Deputy Manager experience or at a senior level who can demonstrate passion and commitment to care. You will require excellent communication skills and have a different view to everyday challenges, be open minded and able to hit the ground running. In this Deputy Manager role you will assist the General Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home on a 24 hour basis and to deputise for the General Manager across the whole range of their duties in their absence. You will ensure all aspects of the management of the Home meet with the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, the requirements of the Care Quality Commission. You will need to be able to support and manage teams and demonstrate a calm professional manner at all times. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: For this role a professional qualification; Registered Nurse/RMN with active PIN registration is preferred, however you will be considered if you can demonstrate a solid background of relevant experience.
