PROJECT AUTOMATION ENGINEER - HAMPSHIRE COMPETITIVE
A global Medical Device manufacturing organisation is looking for a Project Automation Engineer to join their Technical Project team, in the Hampshire area on a permanent basis.
The core function of this role is to introduce new technologies and process equipment, working within the project engineering group. Responsibilities include supporting and leading the specification, development, commissioning and validation of new automated equipment and products. In addition, the Project Automation Engineer will be managing the whole process, from preparing and executing test schedules (FAT/SAT) and creating all appropriate reports/ documentation for the installation and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) of this automated equipment, for the production and delivery of new products to the market.
The Project Automation Engineer must have experience in new product introduction (NPI), new equipment installation / modification, Commissioning, Qualification & Validation. It is essential that candidates also have experience of Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma & Improvement Projects).
In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need to be a Degree qualified Engineer within a relevant Engineering discipline. Candidates will also need to have strong experience within a highly regulated and fast moving manufacturing environment (Medical Device/Pharmaceutical is preferred).
The role is based in Hampshire, and is commutable from Winchester, Basingstoke, Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Salisbury, Petersfield and other locations in the Hampshire area.
