Technical Support Engineer Job based in West side of London
Looking for a Technical Support Engineer in the West Side of London
In this position, you will be responsible for contributing in the day to day operations of the technical department, providing both technical and engineering support on the company?s product range, handling of technical calls for product assistance, via telephone, fax/email or site visits (when necessary), as well as providing internal technical support such as product validation, assembly of test rigs and occasional exhibition assistance.
With this, you will be required to complete written reports, logging technical service calls, and maintaining the training material for use both internally and externally.
- Previous experience working in the Fire alarm industry, with knowledge of fire detection systems and BS5839 standards
- Experience in the installation / commissioning on fire products
- Previous experience within a technical support role (preferable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
- Full drivers licence
