An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our FMCG client are currently seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamic Engineer based at their Research & Development Facility in Port Sunlight, Wirral. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 3-6 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying between £30,000k- £36,000 per annum, pro-rota, depending on experience.

Main Job Purpose:
We are recruiting a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Engineer to work in a small R&D processing group with internal customers around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
As a CFD Engineer you will be responsible for:
Agreeing programme with customers and managing interaction to acquire suitable data to run the simulation and post processing the data into a format suitable for the non CFD expert.
Set up and execute all steps in the simulation
Report work in both documents and presentation format including the preparation of visual aids such as videos of the CFD solution
Liaise with other cross functional teams within Unilever in the UK and internationally.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
MSc in CFD with experience in process or chemical engineering or PhD in Process or Chemical Engineering comprising a major CFD component
Experience of modelling and mixing processes
Familiar with all steps of CFD model setup, analysis and post processing to extract engineering relevant parameters
Ideally proven experience with Ansys Fluent or Siemens StarCCM+
Be able to work with customers with little CFD experience to agree work plans
Experience of high performance computing and experimental validation techniques
