Pharmacy Dispenser (Customer Service)

Location: Surrey

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000

Hours: Full Time 9am-6pm / 10am-7pm

Job Type: Permanent

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving customer orders for Specials and processing them onto the ERP system
  • Liaising with customers and keep them informed of the progress of their orders
  • Resolving any customer complaints
  • Updating the CRM as required
  • Answering numerous telephone queries
  • Receiving orders and acknowledging receipt
  • Sourcing products
  • Placing orders with approved suppliers
  • Ringing customers back with ETA for their order when it is not going to be a next day service
  • Monitoring orders placed
  • Invoicing - setting up products, setting up new customers then raising invoices
  • Filing of order documents
  • Maintaining process protocols
  • Monitoring shelf life of stock held on site
  • Directing requests and unresolved issues to the designated person
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Recording details of enquiries, comments and complaints and actions taken
  • Communicating and co-coordinating with internal departments

  • A customer services role essential in an office based commercial environment
  • Needs experience of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of managing self in a proactive way

Knowledge, education and technical skills:

  • NVQ Level 2 Dispenser
  • IT literate
  • Experienced in working in a pharmacy - Dispensing role

  • Ability to self manage and prioritise and plan effectively
  • Well developed interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to prioritize work
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
