Trainee Claims Technician
About the Company:
A small business based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent providing loss adjusting and claims handling services to insurers and brokers handling predominantly personal lines and small commercial claims.
About the Role:
FULL TIME post for a CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR to process and accurately input insurance claims within the database. The ideal candidate will have the ability to cope under pressure, deal with queries over the phone and have good organisational skills. Knowledge of insurance is preferable but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in insurance. Full training will be given to a graduate or sixth form leaver.
Seeking a reliable individual, able to multi-task with the ability to work well with others.
Salary is circa £16 - £19k negotiable depending on experience and capability.
·Assisting with claims handling from first notification to settlement
·Answering the phone, taking detailed messages and entering information to a database
·Managing a caseload of personal lines and commercial lines claims.
·Excellent communication and organizational skills
·Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
·CII qualifications ideally
·Minimum GCSE grade B in English and Maths
