This low secure hospital offers specialist assessment and treatment for adults with learning, developmental disabilities, behavioural problems, challenging behaviour or autistic spectrum disorders. Service users may have a forensic background and all of them are detained under the Mental Health Act. All individuals have tailored care plans. The hospital prides themselves in maintaining strong relationships with commissioners and provide high standard of patient care in a safe and supportive environment. The Hospital is located within a comfortable commute from Stoke on Trent and has good links to train stations in both Staffordshire and Cheshire.Person Specification / Job Description: In your role as a Staff Nurse you have the responsibility for supporting the Senior Staff Nurse/Team Leader in leading your shift to ensure we deliver excellent standards of care; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care. This exciting and dynamic role will place you at the heart of a clinical team, working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best care and rehabilitation for patients. It would be strongly advantageous to have experience with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
