Clarte are working in partnership with their client to recruit a Senior Support Worker for their beautiful residential setting in the Sittingbourne area.

Age Range: Currently 20 +

Profile of Service: The service is made up of three separate dwellings within beautiful grounds located within the peaceful rural Kent countryside. All the homes back onto very large grounds which house, chickens, a mini allotment, and BBQ area. The grounds also house a large resource facility, which offers a full program of structured educational and recreational activity. There is computer room, life skills training kitchen and fully equipped sensory facility.

Focus of Service: The service operates a total communication approach, the skilled and long standing staff team promote the use of pictorial aids, communication passports, augmented communication aids and boasts good links with local Health professional teams.

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Senior Support worker within a similar service. You must have experience of also dealing with some elements of physically challenging behaviour as well as learning disabilities.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week including every other weekend. The shifts are 7.30am - 3.00pm and 2.30pm until 10.00pm

You will be required to undertake all of our client's safeguarding checks for this position which includes an enhanced DBS check.
