Job Title: Engineering Shift Supervisor
Salary: £37,000
Location: North Lincs

A fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Shift Supervisor to join the Maintenance Engineering team of a well-established food manufacturer within the North Lincs area.

The primary role for the Engineering Shift Supervisor is to supervise the engineering team on shift;

-Prioritise and assist in repairs of equipment breakdowns as quickly and effectively as possible.
-Be proactive with the team in the continuous improvement and planned maintenance programmes for all site equipment and process.
-Be accountable for both delivery and quality of the team's work.
-Hands on management of the shift based engineering resource; prioritise incoming breakdown work requests and manage the use of engineering skills within the team.
-Assist in determining the root cause and solutions of any faults on the production line within all current legislation.
-Notify the responsible Area Manager of the anticipated 'downtimes', ensure all breakdown details including time to rectify fault is properly recorded.
-Ensure that Company Health & Safety Standards are complied with and safe working practices are always adopted.

To be considered for the position of Engineering Shift Supervisor you should be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas;

-Electrical skills and knowledge are essential
-Hands on working as a Supervisor - Must be comfortable to work on the tools when needed to support the team.
-Proven track record from a FMCG environment
-Working knowledge of PLC fault finding on Allen Bradley systems
-Working knowledge of inverters and control systems
-Working knowledge of fluid mechanics and drive systems.
-Working knowledge of pneumatics
