Customers include fashion and apparel, automotive, and furniture as well as a broad array of other industries (aeronautics, marine, wind power).
Due to an internal promotion, a vacancy has arisen to join their skilled team as a Field Service Engineer.
Your new role
Your main objective is to guarantee the smooth running and availability of CAD/CAM equipment at customer sites. You will be home-based planning your own workload and schedule. You will make on site visits to support customers in an effective and conscientious way and ensure all preventative maintenance is completed. All site visits will be managed to ensure the highest level of customer care and to maximise the quality, productivity and performance of equipment. As well as maintenance and servicing you will also install and upgrade CAD/CAM equipment for customers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold the minimum of a BTEC or ONC/OND (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, with good electrical skills, electronics and IT knowledge. You will have previous experience of working as a Field Service Engineer, ideally in a high-tech sector. You will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software and equipment as well as good knowledge of IT software on all windows platforms. Your strong communication and customer service skills will be essential for you to succeed and maximise customer satisfaction.
