The Company
My client is a successful sensory and consumer research consultancy whose clients include major household names in the food, beverage, personal care and household product sectors. Using a range of sensory and consumer research methods, they work in partnership with their clients to optimise their products.

A growing organisation, they are seeking a Programme Manager to lead a team of four Sensory and Consumer Researchers who would be would be responsible for projects in the food and beverage sector with a particular focus on the sensory characterisation of brands and prototypes.

The Job
As Sensory and Consumer Research Programme Manager you will provide consultancy and advice to clients, defining research solutions that will deliver against their business needs and develop and maintain strong client relationships. You will support your team in managing projects ensuring that they meet time, budget and quality standards and be responsible for the training of team members.
This is a fast paced role and you will need to be organised, planning your time to ensure deadlines are met, within budget and to quality standards.

About You
Strong technical capability, particularly in sensory science, alongside experience of using sensory and consumer methodologies in a commercial environment are essential.

You should demonstrate a science-based degree (or equivalent) and demonstrable experience in Sensory and Consumer or Market Research.

In addition my client are looking for experience of managing a small team and a passion for people development.

You should have a flexible approach to the changing needs of clients, exceptional organisational skills a logical approach to solving problems and strong attention to detail.
