We are currently recruiting for a market leading Medical Device organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as an Account Manager within the Woundcare market. This exciting role will be working across Essex and North-East London. The main purpose of this role is to hold and develop enviable relationships with key customers within target accounts to increase sales and market share growth of the assigned products on the territory in line with expectations.

Essential Requirements:
Acute medical devices experience particularly with theatre experience.
Experience of working within Woundcare environment in a sales role preferred but not essential.
Selling experience within Medical/Pharma industry.
Experience of Secondary Care preferred.
Demonstrated skill in working with different levels & types of customer groups and influencing key decision maker Consultants.
Good knowledge in technical information and human physiology.
Ability to demonstrate good understanding of NHS developments, health reforms, NHS Operating plan, NHS targets, competitor and own product knowledge to colleagues.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Delivery of sales targets across territory.
Championing change with procurement and clinical management using clinical data and business proposals.
Develop strong business relationships with key Surgeons, Theatre Managers, Procurement leads & where appropriate, hospital management.
Holding clinical meetings/training sessions to showcase and demonstrate products ensuring their safe & effective usage.
Working closely with regional matrix colleagues / clinical specialists to maximise cross-business sales opportunities.
Demonstrates in-depth clinical and product knowledge within key indication areas.
Maximise the clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical guidelines.
Drive and support product implementation across care settings.
Initiate and drive (hospital/community) product evaluations through liaisons with key clinical decision makers and working with Medical Affairs colleague / Clinical Specialists.
Plan and implement local study/educational activity to raise awareness of the therapy areas and build platform for sales opportunities.
Develop and promote local product advocates and maximise peer to peer selling.
Meet agreed standards working within and adhering to company's compliance policy & standards of business conduct & ethics.
