Position Overview: is looking for a candidate with a strong analytical and business background to lead the Mobile Analytics team. This role will have analytical ownership of high-visibility initiatives, helping to further our understanding and drive strategic decisions within a core and rapidly growing part of our business.


The Senior Manager will lead the Mobile Marketing and Product Analytics team, with responsibilities including:

  • Understanding and proactive communication of factors affecting trading performance to senior management
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of app download acquisition campaigns, supporting on the design, execution and analysis of A/B tests and providing insight and recommendations to optimise the efficiency of paid campaigns and on-site app download placements
  • Working with the App Product teams to deliver actionable behavioural insights to feed into product development, evaluating the performance of our iOS and Android Apps, and carrying out investigations where required
  • Maintaining strong relationships with other teams around the business including Acquisition Marketing, CRM and Merchandising, to understand Mobile performance and identify areas of opportunity
  • Partnering with our Digital Analytics and Data Engineering teams to ensure robust and accurate data capture and continuous improvement of data available for both analytics and wider business stakeholders
  • Leading a team of 5 analysts, prioritising their workload, providing mentorship and guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the team's deliverables

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:


  • University Degree or equivalent, plus 7+ years of experience working in an Analytical role
  • Experience leading a team within an Analytics organisation
  • Experience of using R or similar tools for data analysis and statistical modelling as well as structuring, transforming and visualizing big data
  • Strong SQL skills. Experience with Teradata and AWS preferable
  • Ability to understand technology, with a particular focus on e-commerce
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Able to find solutions and work towards goals when setbacks occur
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to communicate complicated analytical solutions and their business value clearly to a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritise the workload of the team effectively and own deliverables end to end


  • Experience of working with Mobile platforms
  • Expertise in web Analytics, ideally using Adobe Analytics
  • Experience in Conversion Optimisation
  • Understanding of online marketing
  • Travel industry experience
