An experienced, Senior Service Engineer is sought by a leading provider of security solutions to be based from their Feltham office.

The Role:

Working as a Senior Service Engineer provide installation, maintenance and technical support of the company's products. You will also assist the Technical Services Manager with planning, implementation, monitoring and control of the technical services activities. from the Feltham office unless travelling.

The position will require some travel worldwide (rarely), Europe (rarely), around the UK (sometimes) and London (mostly). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Project Management for Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning Services to include risk assessments, method statements, layout Drawings, wring schedules and site records for the project file
  • Liaise with the customer regarding onsite works
  • Some technical training and product testing may be required on client's site
  • Provide Risk Assessments and Method Statement for Installation works following site surveys
  • Provide Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning for the Company's products as part of a team
  • Provide reactive site visits to diagnose and rectify problems
  • Provide office based product support to customers using the Company's CFRL system
  • Provide an after sales warranty and non-warranty service using the RMA system
  • Accountable for on-site works for Installation, Maintenance and Product Support
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements

The successful Senior Service Engineer will demonstrate

  • Educated to City & Guilds (C&G) or HNC Higher National Certificate/Degree level or similar in the discipline of Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Experience as an Installation or Field Service Engineer
  • Installation experience in a construction environment
  • Site managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • Prepared to work occasional weekends and evenings when required
  • Willing to occasionally travel worldwide and to Europe
  • CSCS card holder
  • Excellent computer literacy skills using Microsoft Office programmes
  • Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
  • Shows good initiative, is adaptive, and has a willingness to learn
  • Technical writing and documentation experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work productively with others
  • Ability to resolve problems
  • Ability to manage change


  • £25,000 - £40,000 + Overtime x 1.5 & x2
