History TeacherIslingtonJan / Easter 2018 Start 28,660 - 39,006'Good' SchoolThe RoleAs a History Teacher, you will be tasked with delivering a broad, balanced, up to date and relevant curriculum to students, monitoring and supporting their progress along the way. You'll make raising standards of attainment a priority, encouraging students to fulfil their academic potential. Day to day, you'll be responsible for: planning and delivering lessons, attending appropriate meetings and parents evenings, marking student work, keeping up to date with the national curriculum and any developments within the wider teaching landscape and ensuring effective deployment of classroom support staff.The SchoolThe school is based in North London , close to public transport links and within the inner-London pay zone. Personally, you'll have a positive approach to your work and lead your students by example. You'll have a passion for History as a subject and teaching as a profession.
