Overview of Role
Our client is looking for a graduate who has a passion for data and data management. Working as part of a small team the successful data executive will provide support to the Digital & Data Managers to ensure quality data collection across the business. The role will involve:
Formulating techniques for data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
Adhering to efficient and secure procedures for data handling
Provide accurate data sets for data sharing with the research project team, clients & external stakeholders etc.
Support others in the daily use of data and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
Monitor survey data & completions, evaluating accuracy & legitimacy of responses
Have a proactive approach to discovering ways of enhancing & improving the agility of data collection (new technologies, macros, coding, dashboards etc.)
Troubleshoot data-related, device & data collection issues
Support all projects pertaining to data & digital across the business
Assist the Data Manager in the preparation of data files, manually coding questions to a specified coding frame and cleaning of data files
Assist in the preparation of data, including data tables, charts, coding of dashboards in Python
Assist in the set-up of research using digital platforms (e.g. Decipher (survey scripting), LaunchOpinions (Communities), eye tracking etc.)
Develop competencies in all project and procedural technology and software introduced by Launchpad [e.g. LaunchOpinions, Camtasia, LaunchPanel, Virtual reality, Biometric tools, Mobile Eye Tracking etc.]
Coding of mobile eye tracking data for analysis
Assist in the preparation of project video material e.g. for end client or for video edits
Assist in software reviews to ensure that the technology utilised is best fit and future forward
Assist in creation of marketing materials e.g. infographics, videos
Responsible for managing the client satisfaction survey (sending, monitoring and collating responses)
Conduct back-checks and pre-checks as required - outbound calling to respondents
To undertake further tasks not listed above as instructed by your line manager
Advanced knowledge of Excel & MS Office
Analytical & quantitative skills
Experience of statistic packages such as SNAP, SPSS, FocusVision Dechiper is preferable
Problem solving skills through application of technical software expertise & programming skills
Ability to work independently & as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ideally educated to degree level, preferably with either a mathematical, data science, data management or computing background or a business management discipline with a keen interest in data management.
Contract: Full Time, fixed term 12 month contract initially. Possibility of being extended or made permanent.
Hours of work: 9.30am - 5.00pm
Salary: £19,000 + pension+ bonus scheme
