Applications Analyst - Cloud ERP

Our impressive, International business services client who operate their EMEA Shared Service Centre in Bracknell, are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Applications Analyst to join their team and help them set up and implement solutions which will transform their global organisation. They recognise that ByDesign is a relatively new solution, so are willing for you to learn the product while you're with them, if you're willing to put the extra effort it takes to learn a new solution

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Define the country specific ByD configuration requirements working within the overall solution Grand Design and any local legislative or practical needs

* Work with Business Teams and other Technology team members to ensure the software solutions are configured and structured to meet business needs without customization

* Translate local business needs in to design, configure, document, and test software application solutions

* Design and develop and maintain custom reports with in the ERP solution, using the application suite's reporting capabilities to meet business needs.

* Document configuration and system support materials including functional and technical specifications for use within IT

* Design, develop and implement output forms (such as invoices, remittance advice etc.) to meet global and local needs.

* Develop and Enhance local country set up data collection templates with lessons learned from previous implementations as the programme progresses.

* Ability to monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level

* Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.

* Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with line manager.

You will:

* Define the country specific ByD configuration requirements working within the overall solution Grand Design and any local legislative or practical needs

* Collect and translate local business needs to design, configure, document, and test software application solutions

* Identify, explore and test new solution capability delivered in each of our releases as we implement ByDesign in over 80 countries in the next 12 months

* Continually develop and improve the local country set up process to make sure it gets better every time we visit a new country

* Become an expert in a rapidly growing application and share that expertise with your colleagues and across the ByDesign user community

Skills and Experience Required:

* Be technically minded and able to communicate with users across the globe with differing levels of application knowledge

* Be willing to learn

* Understand some of the business processes that are being implemented - Project to Cash; Purchase to Pay; Budget to Report and Professional Services

* Have a strong cultural awareness to enable you to work effectively with the different teams across the globe

* Have a high attention to detail - a real completer-finisher
