This NSI Gold approved security system installation company, established in 1992, specialise in providing tailor made solutions to homes and businesses.

Based in Slough, Berkshire, they are looking for a Security Systems Service Engineer to run the service side independently.

Being a small company, the role of the Security Systems Service Engineer is not a narrow job description as the successful candidate will be required to join in installations occasionally as required.

While the customer sites range from local to Slough, to central London with a few on the outskirts, the Security Systems Service Engineer will need to reside within about a 15 mile radius to the office. You will be dealing with domestic customers, commercial, schools and housing associations.

The Security Systems Service Engineer will be covering a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, a variety of installation work and more. This is a challenging, exciting and technical role with the opportunity to work with our extensive client base, therefore experience within the security alarm industry is essential.

Key requirements for Security Systems Service Engineer:
• Intruder Alarms
• CCTV
• Access Control
• Ability to run own service desk
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities: Security Systems Service Engineer
• The Security Systems Service Engineer will attend customer sites and undertake periodic maintenance of security systems and carry out necessary fault finding on client sites.
• Duties will include contacting clients, booking service calls and managing own diary
• To meet predefined target times for periodic inspections.
• Clear and concise communication with the office regarding customer issues.
• Complete all paperwork/electronic reporting to the office in a clearly and prompt manner.
• To present a professional appearance at all times.
• Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
