An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our clients are currently looking for an experienced Brand Manager based at there prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying up to £45K per annum. pro rata, depending on experience.

It will be a two stage interview process to take place between 13th November and 30th November 2017.

Must be able to start by 11th December 2017.

Background


The Flora ProActiv marketing team are the Brand custodians, the role involves a mix of Brand Building and Brand Development tasks: delivering through-the-line campaigns, developing and landing innovations in market, as well as managing the execution of promotional and pricing strategy across Channels; ultimately owning the UK & Ireland brand plans, performance & P&L.

Main Purpose

The Flora ProActiv Brand Manager will build effective relationships and deliver the business strategy and financial targets for the UK & Ireland MCO. The Flora ProActiv Brand Manager will work cross-functionally and be the owner of Flora ProActiv plans & P&L, reporting directly into the UKI General Manager and with the support of and Assistant Brand Manager.

Accountabilities

Main accountabilities are to:
* Support the development of annual Brand Plans and ultimate delivery against P&L targets
* Actively contribute to and drive the creation and execution of TTL brand campaigns
* Manage relationships with external Agency partners in driving projects
* Lead Brand Development(BD) projects to develop and land strong renovation and innovation initiatives to deliver (profitable) growth and align with other cluster to create BD synergies
* Develop robust Business Cases and manage projects through key gate-keeping meetings in conjunction with BD
* Monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity in order to inform long term forecasting decisions through concrete assumptions and proactively recommend changes to the annual plan to drive improved growth and competitiveness
* Lead cross-functional project teams and work closely with Business Operations to ensure alignment and consistency in go-to-market strategy
* Work closely with CD to ensure engagement and successful execution of Brand Plans, including defining and managing competitive pricing and promotional strategies across channels
* Develop and present compelling trade stories to key Customers to help secure listings and support for key initiatives


Experience
This position requires demonstrated performance in the required marketing skills and competencies.
* 2+ years marketing experience, preferably in FMCG industry and a local market
* Demonstrated high performance in project management with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
* A team player who is agile and adept at working cross functionally
* Evidence of budgetary control
* Experience in digital marketing

Qualifications:
* Degree level

Additional information

Background hybrid between BB and BD.
Able to hit ground running BB background preferred.
Prefer commercial experience
