Systems Engineer - V&V, Safety Critical, Requirements Capture, Systems Design, Electronics

A Systems Engineer with V&V and Safety Critical Systems is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Kent.

This is an opportunity to be part of an integrated project team developing world-leading airborne systems.

Overview of the Systems Engineer contract role

Working in a team environment to verify systems that meets the complex and demanding requirements of our customers. These systems provide high-integrity solutions for our military and commercial products.

Any of these Key skills required for the Systems Engineer

  • System level verification activities
  • Hardware/Software integration and rig-testing skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience of airborne safety-critical products containing real-time embedded software
  • Knowledge and experience of requirements capture and management
  • System level design experience
  • Use of modelling tools such as Matlab/Simulink
  • Electronics

The role is based in Rochester, Kent - commutable from Chatham, Gillingham, Gravesend, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Dartford with excellent access from London and Essex.
