The Role:

Liaising with the insurance companies to ensure that invoices have been received and to determine whether there are any problems within this process
Deal with any problems that arise effectively, ensuring that the same problem does not occur again.
Work closely with the bodyshop teams to ensure that the information provided for invoicing is accurate
Responsible for keeping records of all correspondence, telephone conversations and actions relating to promises to pay, and follow up as appropriate
Bringing to the attention of the Billing / Credit Control Manager monies difficult to recover and highlighting alongside the manager any matters relating to litigation or debt recovery agencies
Ensuring that customer care standards are maintained and that a tactful, sensitive approach is adopted when dealing with customers
To be aware of and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment

You will demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure

You will ideally have:

Previous experience within Credit Control
Excellent time-management skills
Experience working with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook
