Children’s Residential Support WorkerWigan£16,000-£18,300 sleeps (£75 per night) We are looking to recruit experienced and motivated support workers to our Residential Children’s Home in Wigan. The home supports young males aged 11-17 with EBD, and has a maximum occupancy of 5. We unconditionally value each and every service user, and are looking for support workers who will provide holistic support to children and young people and who are able to identify with their perspective. We have day and night shifts available, and provide 24-hour support, so you will need to be available for weekend and sleep shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an excellent care provider and make a positive impact on service users. Duties include:Provide care and supportive behavioural management to children.Develop strong relationships with service users.Creatively engage children to participate in activities.Keyworking with designated young people.Supporting education.Flexible to work night and weekend shifts.Preferable Qualifications/Experience:NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People.Full UK driving licence.Experience of supporting children/young people with EBD, in the age range 11-17 years.Applicants MUST be a minimum of 21 years old.This is a full time, permanent position.
