International Pharmaceutical Manufacturer based in Hertfordshire requires a Production Trainer within a Sterile Filling environment, to take a lead role in the training and development of Technicians and deliver general technical and practical training to staff in an engaging and consistent manner.

Duties to include:

·To assist the Training Coordinator with general training activities and provide on the job training, sign people off, annual regulatory training and shutdown training, ensuring that Quality, H&S and the requirements of the Regulatory bodies are actively encouraged and promoted.

·To Provide administration and support of the employee Training Folders and update the procedural based training admin system (Computer based).

·To assist in the review and revision of SOPs, BPRs and related documentation to align instructions with the shop floor practices.

·To become an active member of the Trainer Forum.

·Deliver practical training sessions to staff in an engaging and safe manner and providing consistent training across shifts against relevant procedures.

·Assess staff on their competencies and provide constructive feedback.

·Assist in the monitoring of training status of Production staff. This includes the monitoring of their qualifications.

·Able to identify improvements on current documentation and execute those improvements to ensure better and consistent understanding of written working instructions.

·Must learn scientific and technical information about the departmental processes and equipment in order to help develop and deliver training material using a variety of formats i.e. videos, presentations, written assessments, hands-on training, etc.

·To advise Shift Managers, Team Leaders and staff on training and development issues, and to provide advice and guidance as necessary to support the implementation of local and business related initiatives.

·The post holder may be required to present training to shift workers, occasionally outside normal working hours.

·To ensure that the Sterile Operations Training and Development system/s support the business needs.

·The provision of training must be timely, efficient, effective and enjoyable for the delegates.
