Client Information:

They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.

Opportunities:
We are currently looking to recruit an Oncology Nurse part time for one of their hospitals based in Surrey.

Working alongside the Ward Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all times. You and the team will act as a support network to all patients and their families while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment at all times. You will be involved in the development of new initiatives to improve the service offered to patients. Your day to day will involve leading the clinical management of the ward, administering chemotherapy, acting as a mentor to all junior staff members, operational management to include staff rotas and financial budgets.

To be considered for this role you will have at extensive experience of working in oncology nursing. Ideally you would have completed an oncology nursing course and chemotherapy course or be planning to do so. You will have completed a mentorship course as this is essential for the Senior role. Working as a senior staff nurse you will be required to be a good team leader to junior members of staff and the ability to take control of shift when required. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Working as part of a team you will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player
