In this newly created role, we’ll therefore look to your experience of leading a team in a customer service environment such as a hotel to ensure we’re delivering a consistently high-quality experience. Seeking out ways in which we can develop our capabilities, you will work with the team to raise and maintain standards, ensuring all processes are effective, efficient and profit-centred. Working with every element of the non-clinical business from porters to catering and administrative staff, your high expectations will increase consultant and patient engagement, and help us to develop. With patient treatments ranging from bariatric to cosmetic surgery, this busy hospital has the scope to take private healthcare to a new level, and you’ll be a key part of its success. As you will be guiding department managers in how they are spending their budgets, you will need to have excellent communication skills in order to persuade and influence as you see fit. Joining the senior management team to inspire change, you will therefore have a minimum of 5 years management experience, ideally in a multi-functional team. With experience of analysing financial information and data to make business decisions, you will have good business acumen with the ability to juggle priorities and balance the needs of the hospital. A flexible team-player with the willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends according to events, your natural leadership skills (including the confidence to recruit new team members and mentor existing staff) will inspire an air of excitement and expectation as you shape this enthusiastic team with your meticulous standards.
