Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job in Melton Mowbray. Electrical bias (60/40). Day shifts, Monday - Friday

Your new company
This company is a leading global manufacturer with 90 sites in more than 20 countries. In the UK they operate across 5 factories and employ 1200 people. They have recently gone through a period of development which will continue with more investment in their sites and equipment. They also wish to invest in a highly skilled, passionate team and so are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Your new role
You will be required to keep machinery in production through routine PPM and reacting quickly to unexpected equipment breakdowns. You will be conducting fault finding and rectification on a range of machinery including CNC machines. A key part of your job will be to promote continuous improvement as standard practice and drive department 5s campaigns.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with electrical bias. You will have completed and electrical apprenticeship and hold the 17th Edition qualification. You will have previous experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment and health & safety is main priority for you. You are pro-active, 'hands on' and are able to make decisions for the good of production schedules.

You will be offered a salary of up to £29k and be required to work day shifts with an early finish on Fridays. Overtime is available to anyone who wants it as is the opportunity to upgrade skills and experience through new training courses (18th Edition for example).
