Our client is a marketing leading Pharmaceutical organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join an already established team in the Cardiology therapy area. The role will be working as a Key Account Manager across the South London area. Our client is looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals who have the desire to develop a long-term career within their business. This is a 9-month fixed term contract role covering a maternity leave. The purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to build and execute business plans to meet sales goals for assigned territory and to develop effective business relationships with customers in the Cardiology therapy area.

Ideal Candidate Background:
Pharmaceutical sales experience in Secondary Care.
Extensive knowledge of NHS - structure, strategy and funding.
Cardio experience preferred but not essential.
ABPI essential

Role Responsibilities:
Develops understanding of customer organisations and influence customer decisions.
Develops business/clinical networks supporting medical advocacy and key opinion leader plans.
Adapts approach and communication style during sales calls responding appropriately to customer needs.
Ensures that the company's products and services are understood and available to more patients and customers.
Deploys and uses marketing and sales promotional materials and programmes.
Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in the specific therapeutic area.
Allocates resources effectively for sampling, programmes and events.
Integrates customer-facing activities across cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access).
