Full stack JavaScript Developer

Candidates for this position will become part of a dynamic team developing software for the next generation platform for ground breaking monitoring and fault location applications on both low voltage underground cables as well as medium voltage overhead lines.


Understand the product and domain in order to design and develop high quality web applications and associated tests within a continuous integration environment.Participate in the agile processes collaborating with Product Owner, team members and other stakeholders to meet business objectives.Configure and maintain continuous integration and deployment environments.Participate in manual end to end system QA testing.Required Criteria

A degree in software engineering or equivalent.At least 3 years’ experience in application development in Javascript.Linux experience.Strong knowledge of JavaScript client side frameworks e.g. ReactFluent in English, both written and verbalDesired Criteria

Strong knowledge of node.js and its web frameworks e.g. express.js, io.js, sails.js, meteor.js, mean.js.Experience using unit and component test frameworks e.g. Mocha, expect.js, Robot FrameworkExperience in designing/creating test automation processes for both client and server side componentsKnowledge of HTML5 featuresKnowledge of web-app building and releasing process(grunt, gulp, webpack)Basic knowledge of relational databases e.g. SQLiteExperience working in an Agile environment with continuous integration.Experience Designing UX/UI solutions for various screen sizes, platforms and different performance capabilities.Personal Attributes
