My client are an Oxfordshire-based Analytics, Technology and Data Consultancy who are expanding their testing team. They currently have a vacancy available for a Junior Test Engineer and are keen to speak with potential candidates. The Junior Test Engineer will help to ensure that the software is delivered to clients is of the highest quality. The Graduate (or Junior) Test Engineer will be involved in all aspects of testingthroughout the project lifecycle, from initial development testing through to final acceptance. The ideal Junior Test Engineer will have strong knowledge of testing and software, a relevant degree and excellent communications skills. The professional and collaborative environment allows for many opportunities to progress and work on several different areas/stages of software testing.
Responsibilities of the Junior Test Engineer will include:Working with the Test Manager, Project Managers and Tech Leads to produce test plansReviewing applications against requirements during development to confirm that all requirements have been metCollaborating with developers to ensure that test scripts are adequate and appropriate.Advising developers on automated scripts and helping generate themPerforming system and regression testing of applications before they are released to clients
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with many of different projects in industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals and even space exploration. You will further your own skills and experience by gaining exposure to the wide variety of clients and there may be opportunities to travel around our UK and European offices to support project teams directly.
