So what's the Role?

The role of the Telemarketer is to drive marketing campaigns and generate leads for the Business Development Team. Part of the central marketing team, the role holder will assist with the development of targeted campaigns and follow them up with contact plans for chosen customers, delivering on the contact plan and feeding back on response and success rates. This position is a lead generation position that involves contacting prospective customers, qualifying their interest, and passing them to an outside sales executive.

Key Tasks

- Developing a marketing plan with the Head of Marketing to drive sales with nominated accounts / customers.
- Developing relationships with Customers, agency teams and BD leads.
- Identify, develop and qualify business sales opportunities through prospecting activities including contact discovery, cold calling and lead qualification activities.
- Qualifying leads gained through marketing activity and following through to close.
- Guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact, creating awareness of features and benefits of company solutions in target accounts all the way to closing the sale.
- Proactively selling products via the telephone and various digital means including email and using social selling tools including LinkedIn and other CRM Sales Platforms.
- Maintaining the accuracy of a comprehensive customer database, achieving targets of in excess of 95% data quality and recording all customer interactions.
- Maintaining an excellent knowledge of services and their applications in order to generate sales.

- Previous Internal Sales experience with strong medical, healthcare or pharma customer focus.
- Good understanding of the sales process & a proven track record of delivering sales to forecast.
- Ability to build relationships with external partners e.g. customers, BD leads and Agency teams.

Previous marketing campaign management desirable.
