We are looking to engineers to work in a team of 24 Maintenance Engineers.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to manage maintenance activities on equipment including conveyors, scanning equipment, vision systems, packaging equipment, bagging machinery.
Dealing with electro-mechanical/PLC/Hardware faults and preventative maintenance operations.
On site is Electro-mechanical materials handling equipment including - storage and retrieval equipment, conveyors and cranes.
Diagnosing and repairing Hardware faults
Routine maintenance and inspection
Fault finding on PLC's.
Work as part of a team of a small team of Multi Skilled Engineers, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
Electro-mechanical and PLC fault finding skills are desirable (Siemens S7/HMI Interface) .
Undertake improvement, repair and modifications.
Assist in project installation work including cost reduction activities.
Problem analysis and continuous improvementsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience of working on Electro mechanical equipment.
From a Fast Moving background such as High Volume Manufacturing, FMCG, Food, Distribution Warehouse, Packaging Bagging equipment background
Experienced Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled with both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Skills
Routine maintenance and inspection
Knowledge of fault finding on PLC's
ideally experience of working on conveyors, cranes, sorters, robots.
Willing to undertake projects/continuous improvement
Electrical installation industrial/commercial experience an advantage
Minimum C&G qualified in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Biased is preferred but Mechanically biased with Electrical qualifications also given strong consideration.
Provide first line technical response to faults identified on the MHE.
Carryout routine PPM maintenance activities on the MHE
Participate in and promote the concepts of team-based working and knowledge sharing
Assist with the upkeep of MHE maintenance documentation
Ensure compliance with associated site legislative Health & Safety regulations
Ensure full accountability in matter pertaining to PP Ms
Participate in work task related performance improvement programmes
Participate in work related training and individual improvement programmes
Rescue and Working @ Height beneficial
MEWP qualifications beneficial
Apprentice Trained Engineer or equivalent experience
Excellent PC / Computer skills, and hands on fault finding skills
Relevant IEE wiring qualification are desirable – 17th Edition
Methodical & accurate with good communication skills
Knowledge of sensors & scanners is desirable
