You will complete a work based Business and Administration NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification, which will last 12-16 months. Depending on previous qualifications you will also complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT.

This role is offered as part of our one year apprenticeship programme and will give the successful candidate a great start to their career in business. You will be given all the training you need to carry out the role whilst gaining a recognised qualification in business administration.

The Reception team carries out a wide variety of tasks, including meeting/greeting visitors, answering and transferring calls, processing incoming and outgoing post and administration duties.

What does the successful candidate need? We are looking for someone with good communication skills, who can keep calm when it gets busy and has an enthusiastic

Duties will include:

·Answering the telephone and taking messages

·Passing telephone messages on to the correct member of staff

·Data inputting

·Dealing with enquiries

·Dealing with emails

·Responding or forwarding emails to the relevant people

·Deal with post on a daily basis

Skills required:

·Reliable, honest, attention to detail

·Confident, clear telephone manner

·High levels of initiative, attitude and enthusiasm

·Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative


·Excellent career progression

·Warm and friendly atmosphere

·Possibility of working towards permanent position

Working Hours - The hours of work will be 9am–5pm from Monday to Thursday and 9am–4pm on Friday with a 45minute lunch break.

Salary - Apprenticeship salary of £3.50 per hour
