The hospital is located just minutes from Central London, allowing easy access for commuters.

Opportunities:
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Anaesthetic Nurse or ODP to join the theatre team of this hospital.

Reporting into the Theatre manager you will be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care to patients on the ward. You will work to ensure that policies and procedures relating to the administration of blood and blood products are followed. Part of your day to day will involve maintaining a sterile environment within the theatre at all time and ensuring efficient supervision of staff. Working with the team you will ensure that patients comfort. Dignity and privacy are maintained at all times. As a senior member of the team you will have the ability to take the lead in an emergency situation and be responsible for ensure that any incidents/accidents are appropriately recorded and reported in a timely manner.


To be considered for this role you would have you will have a relevant anaesthetic nurse qualification or operating department practitioner qualification. You will have extensive experience of working in anaesthetic's across a range of surgical specialties. Experience working across General, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, Urology, ENT and Plastics would be an advantage. As a senior member of the team you will have experience of mentoring staff and ideally be ALS trained. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
