They cover a range of medical and surgical specialties including Orthopaedics, Oncology, Cardiac, Cosmetic, Ophthalmology, and Paediatric & General. Opportunities:
We are currently looking to recruit nurses to work across the wards of the hospital. In this role you will get the opportunity to work across multiple specialities and really broaden your skill set. The hospital is a specialist provider in orthopaedic surgery and currently boasts 3 Theatres, 11 Consulting Rooms and a large diagnostic and imaging department.


Working alongside the Senior Staff Nurses on the ward you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all time. Your responsibility will cover all aspects of acute patient care, often including comorbidity and post-surgery recovery. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. Part of your role will involve receiving patients from ICU and HDU and monitoring complex conditions. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care. You will also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff
To be considered for this role you will have at least one years' experience working in a surgical setting. You will have experience with IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation however training can be offered in certain areas if necessary to enthusiastic candidates. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Working as part of a team you will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player
