TTM Healthcare is recruiting for a Deputy Manager (RN) for a lovely care group providing quality residential and nursing care for the elderly in the North West of England. The company has been providing quality care for residents for over 30 years and pride themselves on the happy welcoming atmosphere in their homes. Our client provides a full range of care for residential and nursing needs, for both long term and respite periods.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager within a medium sized nursing home in the Wigan area. The Home has recently undergone major refurbishment and is set in extensive gardens. The Home provides EMI nursing and residential care to residents.

You will be responsible for promoting a culture based on respect and dignity for residents, providing supervision and clear management. You will also oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to residents. We are looking for people who will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with residents and their families.

You will be required to work full-time hours.

To be considered for this role is it essential that you have:

Excellent clinical skills Managerial, leadership experience
Nursing qualification and current NMC registration
Strong Clinical experience
Minimum of 3 years experience of working as a nurse in a nursing home
RGN qualification and current PIN with previous experience working in elderly care and excellent leadership qualities.
Outstanding communication skills, excellent clinical skills and be motivated to offer the highest standards of care.
All applicants must have a valid NMC registration and a valid PIN. You must have excellent communication and written skills and have previous experience working within a Nursing home or elderly care setting.

Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home.
