Client Information:
Our client is one of the UK's leading private hospital groups with locations throughout the UK. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.

Opportunities:
We are currently looking to recruit some Scrub Nurses to work in the Theatre department of one of their hospitals based in Kent. This particular hospital is set in a beautiful grade II listed building in picturesque grounds, creating a relaxing space for patients to recuperate after surgery.

Working alongside the Theatre Manager you will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the right standards of care to all patients who are undergoing surgical procedures. Your day to day will involve preparing the equipment and instruments according to the needs of the patient and the surgeon's specifications, updating the surgeon's preference cards, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use, reporting any faults immediately and working as part of a cohesive team. You may also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff.
To be considered for this role you will:

At least 1-year experience working as a scrub nurse
Competent in scrubbing across multiple specialties
Be a good team leader
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
Adhere to confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate
