Our client has a newly created role for an Internal Communications and Change Specialist to be an integral player within their digital transformation programme. Reporting in to the Head of HR and working closely with the Chief Communications Officer, the key purpose of this role is to initiate, implement and manage the internal communication and change management initiatives to support the successful transition and culture change during the digital transformation. This is an ideal role for an individual who is looking to make a real difference.

You will do this by:

·Conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders for digital transformation

·Planning, drafting and delivering the internal communications schedule of activity and employee engagement activities to positively support the digital transformation programme

·Keeping up to date with all digital transformation activity and recommending internal communication and change management initiatives to respond to issues that arise

·Engaging with key stakeholders, including the programme manager, project managers and ambassadors, to ensure the internal communications milestones are met

·Being a trusted adviser on communications approaches, messaging, channels and ensuring HR requirements are built into plans

·Organising and, where appropriate, deliver training to support the digital transformation programme.Including carrying out reviews of any training material or providers

The successful candidate will already meet level 6 of the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) which is equivalent to a degree. The job holder should already have or be prepared to study for the CIPR Internal Communications Diploma.

You should also have:

·Significant experience providing specialist support from within either HR or Communications, including experience of managing internal communications

·Previous experience of managing communications and organisational change, including system and process changes, within a large programme or project

·Previous experience of managing communications through digital platforms

·A comprehensive understanding of best practice and ethics within internal communications and change management – including the psychology of change and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop engaging and user friendly content

·Ability to coach, engage and inspire people to drive positive change

·A team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
