Company Description
One of the most personable, nationally recognised care providers in the healthcare industry are looking for a Home Care Worker to work in a team of 8, caring for a client with a spinal injury in their home.

The company is very supportive and funds all qualifications and training as well as paying expenses for said training and over-night stays.

The Role
As Senior Home Care Support Worker, you would be tasked with providing all forms of home care for the client, the client is elderly with a motor neuron disease and requires personal care, hoisting and assistance with eating.

You’ll have to love dogs, because she has an adorable one!

The role itself is unique, in-home care many people say they wish that they could spend more time with their clients, getting to know them and their family. In this role, you can and you’re like an extended part of the family, which is the most rewarding type of care that there is.

This position would suit somebody who is used to domiciliary care or care in which personal care is predominant or has work within an elderly residential home.

You’d deputise the Home Manager and help complete paperwork.

Shifts are based on set hours, waking nights and sleep-ins.

Qualifications and Skills
It is essential that you have your Level 3 and have had experience in working within a residential setting. Management or Senior experience is not essential, as the company are a big believer in training and giving people a chance to step up and take responsibility.

Personal care, aiding with eating and hoisting – as mentioned, is something that the role will essentially require.

Your salary is circa £19,500+ (this is taking into account hourly rate + sleep ins) depending on experience and background, with a pension scheme of 3%.

They regularly do autism fundraisers with all proceeds being spent on the SU’s for anything they require, such as iPads, day trips and equipment.
