Senior Staff Nurse - Critical Care UnitLeedsFull timeSalary £28,000 - £31,000We're looking for an exceptional Senior Staff Nurse with the ability to inspire others to deliver the highest standards of patient care.About this senior staff nurse roleThis role is about leading by example and being an ambassador for this clients private hospital way of caring. It's about recognising talent, nurturing junior staff, and mentoring them to be the best nurses they can be, using clinical skills and an empathetic approach to meet each individual patient's need.Reporting to the Senior Sister you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team. You'll get to work with some of the best clinical talent around and experience with new practices, equipment and facilities, all of which are maintained to our high standards -we take great pride in our low infection rates and high CQC scores.Your key accountabilities will be;to provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students of the department, with responsibilities including all or most of the following:Work scheduling/rotasInvolvement in recruitment, induction, performance review, attendance management, disciplinary and grievance mattersCompetency assessment, training, development and the mentoring of staffEnsure work is carried out efficiently and to agreed working practice and protocolsLocated in Leeds with excellent transport links to the surrounding area, this Hospital is a highly successful state-of-the-art hospital with over 60 en-suite bedrooms and an large bedded critical care unit, which accepts patients from a range of specialities, including patients who have undergone, cardiac, general or neurological surgery.We aim to provide our customers with the highest level of care.
