PRIMARY DUTIES

The company seeks to fill the role of Therapy Area Lead for the Cardiovascular area.

You will lead, engage and manage a team in the delivery of medical & scientific expertise within this important therapeutic area internally and to external customers. You will also play a key role with an alliance partner. Therefore good stakeholder management skills are important.

You will design, lead and implement local medical strategy for the area. All activities to be executed by fully adhering to ABPI and IPHA codes, company SOPs, and relevant UK and Irish legal requirements.

The company will provide a comprehensive development programme for the successful applicant as a pharmaceutical physician. This will include support to complete the Programme in Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training if appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will be a fully GMC registered medic and be able to demonstrate good career progression in the pharmaceutical industry.

Demonstrable experience in medical affairs with strong leadership skills are required.

Experience in Cardiovascular is preferred.
