3aaa Apprenticeships, a Grade 1 Outstanding Ofsted awarded training provider, specialising in the delivery of Professional Services Apprenticeships have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Tutor delivering training and supporting apprentices in the classroom working towards their qualification.

You will use your experience to guide learners through their qualification and providing training to up skill the learners where necessary.

To be considered for this role you will have industry and/ or teaching experience of Computer Hardware and Networks with knowledge of setting up, fault finding and support


Your daily duties will include, not limited to:

    Delivering assignments/study and presentations to apprenticeships in an engaging and professional manner for them to learn the syllabus,Working within the local Academy, providing a support network for the qualification and making sure the students are completing at a high level. Issuing assignments for students to complete and work towards to achieve result Doing their own background research to keep up to date with new modules and criteria that we need to keep. Mark assignments and monitor students’ progress throughout the course When needed teach, supervise and assess Functional Skills for current and future apprenticeships within 3aaa.

Person Specification

    Trainer/teaching background within IT/IT related degree with proven industry experience or even Computer Science/Engineering Ideally hold a Cisco Qualification but not necessary You will also hold a teaching qualification - PTLLS as a minimumExperience of working on funded training programmes and/or apprenticeships would be advantageous. You will be working closely with the apprentices enrolled with 3aaa, and as such you must be able to relate well to the 16-22 age groups. Confident, personable and able to adaptAble to work independently and organise work load.

There is a requirement to pass an Enhanced DBS check. This will be paid for by 3aaa Apprenticeships.

Due to the nature of this role, you are required to have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel over a large geographical area.
