One of Oxfordshire’s leading care homes has an exciting opportunity for a qualified RGN with a background in elderly care to lead their general elderly nursing unit.


The role will involve ensuring all aspects of care planning and delivery within your unit are of the highest standards and in line with company policy.


Most of your time will be spent providing clinical care, however you will spend 1 day per week undertaking supernumerary duties.


Applicants for this Unit Manager position should meet the following criteria:



NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN
Demonstrate substantial experience within an elderly care home, with a genuine passion for working in older people’s services
Possess some managerial experience in a care setting, including in performance management, probation reviews and conducting appraisals
Ideally have completed post-qualification studies specialising in elderly care in addition to an NVQ Assessor qualification

39.75 hours per week on day shifts
